Water-repellent synthetic upper with mesh panels for ventilation. Anti-abrasion toe cap and heel reinforcement. Semi-gusset tongue to limit water and dust entry. Sturdy lacing with reinforced eyelets. TPR outsole with multidirectional lugs (≈ 5 mm) for reliable traction on wet or stony ground. Full-length EVA midsole with TPU shank for torsional stability. Removable insole.

Good usage practices

• 3-layer system (textile) :
  Base layer = wicking (breathable),
  Mid-layer = insulate (fleece/down/synthetic),
  Shell = protect (waterproof/windproof).
  
  Adjust openings and zippers to avoid overheating.
  
• Lacing & support (shoes) : lock the heel when descending, adjust the tightening to the slope; use marked crampons on soft ground, softer rubber on wet rock.
  
• Maintenance : Refresh the DWR as needed (gentle heat), dry completely after use (textiles/shoes/soles), regularly re-waterproof non-membrane uppers.
