Letu 10D 800FP down sleeping bag for lightweight bivouacking. This range of adult mummy bags, with down fill power from 410 to 1330 g, covers the needs of hikers from spring to very cold mountain nights, with an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio.

The outer shell is made of 10D ripstop nylon with a water-repellent finish, resistant to snags and light splashes. The ultralight 7D nylon lining offers a soft feel and quick-drying properties. The 95% white duck down (800 fill power) provides excellent insulation and compressibility. The down is baffled in longitudinal and transverse sections to ensure even distribution and minimize heat loss, even after repeated compression.

The bags are available in three lengths to suit different body types: S approx. 195 × 78 cm (up to 175 cm), M approx. 210 × 80 cm (173 to 185 cm), and L approx. 225 × 85 cm (185 cm and taller). The total weight, including the compression sack, ranges from approximately 650 g for the 410/450 models to 1,850 g for the 1330L cold-weather model. When compressed, the bags measure approximately 25 × 15 cm for the lighter models and 32 × 18 cm for the warmer ones, easily fitting inside a trekking backpack.

Technical specifications and advantages

High-performance mummy structure: fitted shape with boxed foot and enveloping hood, limiting the volume of air to be heated while maintaining freedom of movement.
10D ripstop outer fabric: tear-resistant nylon with water-repellent treatment, offering effective protection against abrasion and light moisture from the tent or bivvy bag.
Ultra-light 7D lining: thin and breathable nylon, pleasant on the skin, which dries quickly in case of condensation or residual moisture.
95% 800FP down: 800 fill power white duck down, very lofty, guaranteeing an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio and maximum compression in the stuff sack.
Wide choice of fillings: weights of 410, 450, 500, 640, 700, 780, 860, 950, 1050, 1090, 1200 and 1330 g allowing you to choose a suitable level of insulation from around 5 °C of comfort up to extreme cold close to -20 °C depending on the model.
Three lengths S, M, L: sizes dedicated to sizes up to 175 cm, 185 cm or above to optimize thermal performance by avoiding unnecessary air volumes at the feet and shoulders.
Side zip closure: long double slider zip with insulating flap to limit cold air entry and allow partial opening from the top or bottom for ventilation.
Adjustable hood and collar: drawstring around the face and internal collar at the neck to lock in warmth on cold nights.
Compact weight and volume: from 650 to 1850 g depending on the filling, reduced compressed volume, suitable for light hiking, bikepacking and multi-day raids.
Accessories provided: compression bag for transport and ventilated storage bag (mesh) to keep the down uncompressed at home and preserve its loft.
Versatility for 3 to 4 seasons: lightweight models suitable for summer trekking and heavyweight versions usable in high mountains or cold conditions, combined with a suitable insulating mattress.
Visible colours: bright yellow “dynamic yellow” or black “rock black” hull with light grey interior, easy to spot at the bivouac while remaining understated.

Rather impressed

I'm impressed! Excellent outer material, with inner lining and separation between the upper and lower parts. On the semi-rigid side, the belt is not structured, but the weight distribution is effective and comfortable!
